Everyone got together at Grandma and Grandpa Kohnke's house in Indy for a beautiful Easter.  The weather was so nice we thought it was summer!  All the girls looked beautiful in their Easter dresses and the boys looked charming while gathering CHOCOLATE!  Maybe the best part was when Gma K taught the kids to sing 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall and they sang it back for her... in church!  

Hard to believe but little Ella turned 2!!!  And she had quite a fun party to celebrate.  There was a delicious horse cake and lots of pretty presents and of course a very cute birthday girl!  Everyone had a blast. 

I feel like Dora; I want to sing We did it, We did it!  My sisters and I pulled off the surprise we never thought could happen - a party for our parents on their (well 2 nights before) 50th anniversary!  We worked for over a year planning this and it was SOOOO worth it to see their faces!  Here are a few pictures and hopefully I'll get more back soon but it was a blast! 

Quite a group came out in support of Kristi's mom, Jan, and all survivors of breast cancer for a wonderful morning 5K!  There was a salute to the survivors and group picture, lots of things to see and inspirational stories to hear.  Family came from around the state to support her and everyone else was surely there in spirit - what a wonderful day for a wonderful cause.  For more information on fighting breast cancer go to: www.komen.org

All the family came to play when we rented a huge jumper/slide for the backyard!  We took this opportunity to get our families together for a little summer fun - and had a wonderful time! 

We had a wonderful time up at the cottage with Gpa and Gma Westphal and stopping by the Yukels too!  Jack got to play with lots of Mommy's old toys and learned the goodness of bottle rockets!  He had a great time with Gpa and Gma, being silly, reading books and getting lots of hugs and kisses! 

What a fun trip!  All the grandkids (and their mommies) surprised Grandma Kohnke by showing up on her doorstep for a visit on her birthday!  Nothing but fun was had the entire time, we went slip sliding, swimming in the pool, playing trains and listening to the "funny book" with Grandma.  Then Grandpa got out the electric train and all the kids were in heaven! 

This year was a special treat for us, it was the first time in 11 years all four girls were able to be home for Christmas together.  There was much giggling and many smiles.  Maybe now that we only have to coordinate one out of town schedule it can happen more often, or maybe we'll talk her into moving back too...... 

How fun to be all together - it has been way way too long!  Anne and Neil hosted a great party and though we had to leave late in the afternoon we hear it was a great time late into the night!  Four generations of Rosol blood here, how wonderful!  We even sang Christmas songs - it was a blast.

What a scoobity doobity fun time!  Will had a super fun birthday party with a yummy Scooby Doo cake, shrinky dinks, lots of fun gifts, and a scooby hunt with a real live bad guy (a.k.a. his dad Neil)

We had a great time seeing Kristi's sister Terri who was visiting from Georgia!  Saturday there was a party for all of us to get together and we had a wonderful time - here are some pictures from the fun.
